Alexander Zarebski

Dr Alexander Zarebski is a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne. His research interests include the application and development of quantitative methods to questions in infectious disease epidemiology. In particular, he focuses on the joint analysis of genomic and time series data. His work involves developing novel statistical models to better understand the spread and evolution of infectious diseases, such as influenza and COVID-19.
